From south (Pittsburgh) I-79, Exit #99 (Rt. 422/Butler)
Bear right on the Route 79 ramp, this ramp will connect with Rt. 422 heading east towards Butler.  Stay in the far right lane, do not merge into the Rt. 422 travel lanes.  The far right lane then quickly becomes an exit ramp from Rt. 422 to West Park Road.  There will be a stop sign at the end of the ramp at West Park Road, turn right. Travel approximately 0.3-miles and then turn right onto North Shore Drive, after approximately 0.1-miles, turn right following the park sign for McDanels Boat Launch then make a left onto the road leading to McDanels Boat Launch.

From north (Erie) I-79, Exit #99
Bear right on the Route 79 ramp, this ramp will connect with Rt. 422 heading east towards Butler.  After passing through a traffic light, enter the far right lane.  The far right lane then becomes an exit ramp from Rt. 422 to West Park Road.  There will be a stop sign at the end of the ramp at West Park Road, turn right. Travel approximately 0.3-miles and then turn right onto North Shore Drive, after approximately 0.1-miles, turn right following the park sign for McDanels Boat Launch then make a left onto the road leading to McDanels Boat Launch.

From the East
Drive west on Rt. 422, exit at Moraine State Park North Shore Drive.  Exit and continue approximately 0.25 mile.  Turn right toward McDanels Boat Launch.

From the West
You will drive through a traffic light to the Pilot Truck Stop and two traffic lights for the Route 79 ramps. After passing through the third traffic light, enter the far right lane.  The far right lane then becomes an exit ramp from Rt. 422 to West Park Road.  There will be a stop sign at the end of the ramp at West Park Road, turn right. Travel approximately 0.3-miles and then turn right onto North Shore Drive, after approximately 0.1-miles, turn right following the park sign for McDanels Boat Launch then make a left onto the road leading to McDanels Boat Launch.
